About this program
UNSW Master of Professional Accounting covers financial, strategic and management accounting, including financial and corporate accounting, regulation and accounting information systems. A 96 unit Extension version adds four electives and, from 2024, a CPA specialisation that lets students sit CPA exams alongside their coursework. It runs two years full-time or four years part-time. Entry requires a recognised bachelor degree with a credit average on the UNSW Postgraduate Coursework Entry Score Calculator; relevant prior study can earn up to four courses, 24 units, of credit. The degree is recognised by CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Indicative international tuition is around A$45,300 per year. Graduates enter professional accounting, audit, tax and finance roles.
