About this program
VU's MBA is aimed at working professionals rather than fresh graduates (most cohorts expect several years of prior work experience) and runs core units in strategy, finance, marketing and leadership before students pick electives to angle the degree toward their own industry. Delivery follows VU's block model even at MBA level, so units run intensively rather than stretching across a full trimester, which suits people fitting study around a job better than a semester-long weekly-lecture format would.
The program doesn't carry the brand weight of a Melbourne Business School or AGSM MBA, and VU doesn't try to compete on that ground.
