Bachelor of An accounting degree that really counts Great accountants and financial advice professionals understand both numbers and people, and can think creatively to find solutions to complex problems. The Bachelor of Accounting holds triple accreditation with CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ), and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). When completed with the Financial Planning and Taxation major it satisfies The Treasury's tertiary qualifications requirements to become a registered financial adviser, and the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) education requirements for tax (financial) advisers and tax agents. - You can choose from the following majors: Financial Planning The specialised subjects in this major analyse contemporary issues relevant to financial planning using case studies and discussion. Completion of this major meets the RG146 generic knowledge requirements, specialist knowledge requirements and skills requirements as they currently stand. Whilst it is not compulsory to complete the taxation specialisation, students are encouraged to complete these subjects as content builds on that covered in the financial planning specialisation. Admissions
A minimum ATAR (or equivalent selection rank) of 70 is required for direct entry. Applicants who don't meet this can apply through The College's pathway diplomas and foundation programs, or via recognised prior study, VET qualifications or relevant work experience assessed case by case.
