About this program
Western Sydney University Master of Professional Accounting is an accredited graduate conversion program for holders of a bachelor degree in any discipline other than an accredited accounting major, letting them complete the pre-entry education requirements for CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Institute of Public Accountants. It runs 1.5 years full-time or three years part-time and requires 160 credit points: twelve postgraduate accounting core subjects and four electives. The degree is also internationally accredited with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, giving graduates exemptions from 11 ACCA papers. Entry requires a completed undergraduate degree or a graduate certificate. Indicative international tuition is around A$39,300 per year. Graduates work as accountants, auditors, tax advisers and financial analysts.
