About this program
This diploma builds the skills and knowledge to coordinate event operations, with students working on real events throughout their studies and learning best-practice event management from industry professionals covering onsite and venue management, scheduling, budgeting and supplier coordination. Students plan and deliver an event for a real client, gaining genuine industry experience across settings from festivals and conferences to major sporting events, with an optional industry placement semester available to boost hands-on skills. Practical experience also runs through Angliss's own onsite restaurant outlets and on- and off-campus events.

Admissions
William Angliss Institute's international entry requirements for Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma level courses require an Australian Year 12 qualification with satisfactory results and attendance, or an equivalent senior secondary certificate with satisfactory results, or a recognised Foundation Studies program completed in Australia, or the International Baccalaureate Diploma (minimum 23 points), or Cambridge Overseas School Certificate/GCE O Level passes in at least 5 subjects with a minimum of 4 Cs.
