About this program

Adelaide University Bachelor of Cyber Security lets students build their own program from a range of cyber courses, from technical subjects such as malware and attack technologies to information assurance and risk management, rounded out with professional communication, business and teamwork courses and an ICT capstone project on a real-world security problem. Students use their first- and second-year electives to complete mathematics prerequisites suited to their background. The program is provisionally accredited by the Australian Computer Society at the level of cyber security professional; subject to full accreditation, graduates will be eligible for ACS membership and recognition under the Seoul Accord. Entry is competitive and international students must meet Adelaide academic and English requirements. Graduates work as security analysts, incident responders, ethical hackers, data privacy officers and IT risk managers. International tuition is about A$53,300 per year.
