About this program

A three-year degree (144 units) with February and July intakes, built from a common core, a science program core, one major or a discipline-course block, a required work-integrated learning component, and electives. The work-integrated learning is mandatory and ranges from research projects to fieldwork to industry placements depending on the major.

There are more than 30 majors across animal and veterinary sciences, chemistry, molecular and biomedical sciences, earth sciences, physics, ecology and evolution, environmental and plant sciences, and food science. Students can extend to a four-year Bachelor of Science (Honours) for research training, or fast-track into a Master of Research with about one further year.
