About this program
The Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) at the University of Queensland is an elite 4-year program for high-achieving science students aiming at research careers, offering 25 majors and more than 30 minors across the sciences. Students complete a full-year research project working directly alongside UQ researchers in one of more than 30 fields of study, building both deep disciplinary knowledge and broad scientific literacy alongside their coursework. Core courses include advanced analysis of scientific data and advanced theory and practice in science, with options in specific majors such as chemistry or ecology and conservation biology.
