About this program
The Bachelor of Biological Sciences at La Trobe University gives students a strong scientific grounding plus the flexibility to specialise. Students build foundational skills in biology, chemistry, ecology and biodiversity, and explore the impacts of infection, epidemics and pandemics. Practical classes start in first year, both in on-campus labs and out in the field, alongside industry-led workshops, seminars and opportunities for work placements.
