About this program
The Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology at Adelaide University is a four-year degree that teaches best-practice techniques for growing wine grapes and making wine, taught at the Waite Campus where a large share of Australia's wine research takes place. Students learn hands-on, from growing grapes in the on-campus vineyard to making wine in the commercial-scale campus winery, within one of the largest agricultural and viticultural teaching and research precincts in the Southern Hemisphere. Graduates work as winemakers and viticulturists, managing vineyards, developing new technologies and focusing on sustainable winemaking.
