Master of Education
Adelaide University, Adelaide, SA, Australia
About this program
A two-year master's for people already working in education, not a route to initial teacher registration. It can be shortened to one to 1.5 years for applicants with a teaching qualification and experience.
Students choose one of ten focus areas, including education leadership and innovation, digital learning, early childhood, the brain and learning, TESOL, wellbeing and inclusion, First Nations cultures and perspectives, and a research stream with a two-part dissertation. Research methods coursework and a major project run through the degree. It is offered on campus or online (international students study mainly on campus). It suits teachers, school leaders, trainers and consultants wanting a specialisation or a research pathway.
