About this program
Adelaide University's Master of Nursing is a post-registration degree for nurses who already hold, or are eligible to hold, registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. It is not a qualifying degree for people who are not already nurses. The two-year program at the Adelaide City campus runs to 96 units and offers either a clinical project pathway or a research thesis pathway, with specialist interest areas including critical care, oncology, mental health, perioperative nursing, primary health care and women's health. The qualification is stackable, so students can exit with a graduate certificate after six months or a graduate diploma after one year. Entry requires a bachelor degree, a grade point average around 5.0 on a 7-point scale, and a high IELTS result of 7 overall. Graduates move into senior clinical, leadership, management and research roles. Indicative international tuition is around A$54,900 per year.
