Master of Leadership and Management in Health Care

This Master’s degree will expand your knowledge and skills in leadership and management in healthcare. Graduates of the Master of Leadership and Management in Healthcare students will be able to: evaluate issues and challenges that the industry, healthcare professionals and consumers of their services encounter conceptualise new and creative approaches to leadership and management in healthcare to support service delivery in diverse health care settings connect theory, practice and research within leadership and management in healthcare examine the ethical aspects of personal, social, cultural, environmental and institutional changes within contemporary health care delivery and respond to such changes reflect on options and opportunities to enhance professional practice in contemporary local, regional and global healthcare contexts contribute to values-based professional practice in dynamic and challenging environments. Professional recognition This course is not currently externally accredited. There has been discussion in relation to applying for accreditation with the Australian College of Health Services Management (ACHSM). The Australasian College of Health Services Management (ACHSM) is the peak professional body for health managers in Australasia and brings together health leaders to learn, network and share ideas.
