Australian National University, Canberra, ACT, Australia

About this program

The Master of Forests at the Australian National University addresses global goals around halting deforestation and forest degradation, restoring degraded landscapes, and expanding the role of forests in climate change mitigation and adaptation. Students engage with forests in their many forms, from Indigenous-managed and state-managed conservation forests to plantation, farm and urban forests, and with wood as a renewable material and the basis of advanced engineered building materials. The degree is offered through the Fenner School of Environment and Society and prepares graduates for forest conservation, management and policy roles.
