About this program

Avondale's Bachelor of Arts presents the humanities and creative arts within a Christian world view, and its major list runs wider than the name suggests: alongside humanities staples (English, History, Music, Communication, Religious Studies, Visual Arts) it also carries science majors (Biological Science, Chemistry, Food and Nutrition, Mathematics) because Avondale folds those disciplines into the BA rather than running a separate standalone science degree. The course develops research, analysis, critical thinking and written and non-verbal communication skills, and is designed as both broad preparation for employment and a basis for postgraduate study.
