About this program

Bond's Bachelor of Arts is a two-year degree (six semesters) built around majors rather than a fixed curriculum: students take three university core subjects, then either two majors with nine electives or three majors with three electives. More than 20 majors are grouped into communication (journalism, public relations, advertising, social media, corporate storytelling), creative arts (film and television, digital media, media studies), global studies and philosophy (international relations, sustainability, philosophy), and social sciences (psychology, criminology, counselling interventions).

Relevant public relations majors are accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Australia, and teaching is project-based with small classes. Because the structure is modular, students commonly use it to combine two fields that do not usually sit in one degree, or as a faster route into postgraduate study.
