About this program

This is deliberately not a climate science degree. It is a two-year non-science degree (six semesters, trimester intakes in January, May, and September) that approaches climate and sustainability through communication, media, psychology, health, law, and business. The structure is a core curriculum, a broad interdisciplinary foundation, a student-chosen major, and an electives and capstone block.

The final semester can be a capstone project or an internship applying the degree to a real sustainability problem, with some fieldwork such as environmental assessments. Graduates move into sustainability management, climate consulting, environmental policy, corporate governance and communications, and infrastructure planning. Students who want the science side (emissions modelling, ecology, engineering) should look at a science or engineering degree instead.
