About this program
This two-year degree (24 subjects, six semesters) starts with criminology and legal foundations plus Bond's core subjects, then moves into applied areas: criminal investigation, cybercrime, youth justice, child protection, victimology, and crime prevention. Students choose one of three second-year pathways, adding a psychology specialisation, a law specialisation, or a broader set of electives.
Several subjects are taught by former practitioners, including an ex-Detective Inspector and researchers in police legitimacy. Internship placements are available for academic credit, and Bond's Transformer and Beyond Bond programs give students real projects with outside organisations. The degree suits students aiming at policing, corrections, intelligence, policy, or community justice roles, or planning to continue into postgraduate law or psychology.
