About this program
The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney is a combined degree giving graduates two qualifications and a pathway to legal practice alongside a broader humanities education. Students complete Bachelor of Arts requirements, including a major from the Arts and Social Sciences disciplinary pool, alongside the Bachelor of Laws junior core units, developing analytical skills to form and articulate legal and factual analysis based on argument and evidence.
Graduates move into a wide range of careers, including barrister, business analyst, diplomat, economist, government policy officer and roles across the private and public sectors where legal skills are in demand.
