About this program
This two-year degree (six semesters) is quantitative from the start. First year covers introductory data science, mathematical statistics, quantitative methods, statistical learning, regression, and applied econometrics; second year adds modern machine learning, deep learning with neural networks, and an applied data analytics project. R and Python are taught throughout, in the Bond FinTech Hub and Centre for Data Analytics, and Bloomberg certification is available.
The capstone is a group project on real data supplied by industry partners in healthcare, insurance, and finance. Students choose one specialisation from options including Quantitative Finance, Health System Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Psychometrics, and Sport Analytics, and can add a four-subject minor, a study tour, or a business internship in place of electives.

Completion of Australian Year 12 (or equivalent); Bond applies its own admission score rather than a standard ATAR cut-off, and offers pathway entry through the Diploma or College Foundation Program.
