About this program
An eight-subject graduate diploma, about two semesters, sitting between the Graduate Certificate in Nutrition and the Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice. It extends the certificate with further nutrition science, assessment and public health subjects and is accredited by Dietitians Australia. All subjects are credited in full toward the master's, which is the degree that leads to becoming an Accredited Practising Dietitian; the diploma alone does not confer that registration. It suits health professionals, career changers and overseas-trained dietitians who want a substantial nutrition qualification and a staged route into the dietetics master's.
