About this program
A two-year degree (six semesters) that qualifies graduates for Dietitians Australia's Accredited Practising Dietitian program, the credential needed to work as a dietitian in Australia. It is placement-heavy: about 44 weeks of immersive experience, made up of four five-week clinical placements, two ten-week research internships, and a two-week international field trip.
Year one covers foundational nutrition, food science, clinical dietetics, public health nutrition, and food service management; year two is mostly placement plus a sports nutrition intensive, research coursework, a leadership subject, and an international nutrition practice intensive. The degree is also accredited in the United States by ACEND, though the US registered dietitian pathway needs extra supervised hours there. Applicants should check the specific prerequisite subjects with Bond.

Admissions
Successful completion of recognised Bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) in health related field with a minimum GPA requirement of 1 (on a 4-point scale where 1 = pass). Must also meet subject prerequisites (see additional requirements) and applicants must also be successful at interview.
