About this program
The Associate Degree of Engineering at Charles Darwin University provides a sound basis of fundamental engineering concepts followed by the application of civil and structural, electrical and electronics, or mechanical engineering theory and practice. Students develop skills for solving common engineering problems and prepare for further study in the Bachelor of Engineering Science and Bachelor of Engineering Honours. Civil and structural associates contribute to the design, operation and maintenance of structures such as water resources, roads, bridges and marine structures, while electrical and electronics associates assist with the design, automation and control of devices.
