About this program
The Bachelor of Laws Honours at Charles Darwin University is a one-year course for high-achieving Bachelor of Laws graduates. It may provide a pathway to a PhD, enhance career prospects and advance legal research and writing skills. Students undertake a substantial legal research project in an area relevant to their career, deeply exploring a legal topic and developing an understanding of research methodologies relevant to law and legal scholarship, with support from CDU academic staff and a research supervisor to produce work to a publishable level.
