About this program
The Master of Applied Spatial Science at Charles Darwin University provides upskilling in geographic information systems and remote sensing for a diverse range of vocations. Aimed at those with little or no previous spatial science experience, and open to students with a bachelor's degree in any field, the course guides students through the fundamentals and develops more advanced geospatial skills to solve real-world problems across fields such as environmental science, health, agriculture, mining, disaster and emergency management, and tourism and business. Graduates work as spatial analysts, spatial ecologists, GIS analysts and remote sensing specialists.
