About this program
CQUniversity Master of Public Health is built around the social-ecological model of health that underpins community-based and community-led public health, and is designed around innovative interventions for social change. Across its 12 units students study the origins and evolution of public health, complex adaptive systems thinking, social and environmental determinants of health, epidemiology and statistics, communicable diseases, social justice and partnership development. The indicative first-year fee covers a full-time year of eight units over two terms. Credit and recognition of prior learning can reduce the study load for students with relevant experience or prior study. Indicative international tuition is around A$35,800 per year. Graduates work in public health practice, health policy and planning, epidemiology, disease control, health research and community development.
