About this program
Curtin University Bachelor of Information Technology prepares students for high-demand areas of computing, covering fundamental programming and security skills and the workings of modern computers and computer networks, with a focus on distributed computing and room to specialise around personal interests. The course is accredited by the Australian Computer Society. Curtin works with industry partners to shape course content and to provide final-year placement opportunities so graduates leave career-ready. Entry is available through several pathways: senior secondary results and ATAR with adjustment factors applied automatically, an AQF Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma with the subject prerequisite met, or a bridging or enabling course.
