About this program

Curtin University Master of Public Health is a two-year degree with a pathway to research; a 1.5-year Master of Public Health (Practice) is an accelerated route to working as a practitioner, with an applied focus on epidemiology and surveillance, research methods, disease prevention and control, health protection and promotion, and policy, governance and systems, ending in a professional capstone. All public health courses are available fully online, full or part time. In the second year of the comprehensive degree, students carry out research with an academic supervisor or build practice and leadership skills. Entry requires a bachelor degree, preferably in health, education, behavioural or social sciences or management, and may require a CV and personal statement; Curtin English requirements apply. Indicative international tuition is around A$47,900 per year. Graduates work in epidemiology, health policy, community health, disease surveillance, health promotion and emergency response.
