About this program
The Bachelor of Sport Development at Deakin University teaches students how to grow participation, design programs and support safe, inclusive sport in schools, clubs and community organisations. Students build expertise in sport systems and pathways, coaching, and contemporary health and community development, developing the skills to create positive sporting experiences and strengthen communities through sport. A range of electives and practical placements with organisations such as Netball Victoria provide industry experience. Graduates work in sport development, participation, program and community roles across sporting bodies, clubs and government.
