About this program
The Graduate Diploma of Health Management at Deakin University is a one-year postgraduate course that develops the leadership, analytical and managerial skills to influence positive change in healthcare systems. Students build expertise in healthcare systems, health economics and digital health while developing the skills to manage people, resources and services across a range of settings. A choice of elective units lets students tailor the course to their goals, and it can articulate into the Master of Health Management. Graduates work in management and coordination roles across hospitals, community health, aged care and government.

To be considered for admission to this degree you will need to meet at least one of the following criteria: completion of a bachelor degree or higher; at least two years' relevant work experience (or part-time equivalent), e.g. health support worker, aged care and disability support worker, allied health science professional
