About this program
The Graduate Diploma of Health Promotion at Deakin University is a one-year postgraduate course that develops the skills to design, deliver and evaluate health promotion initiatives. Students build capability in program planning, communication and evaluation to address the underlying causes of poor health and drive change through prevention. The course covers how social, environmental and behavioural factors influence health, alongside health communication, program planning and health equity, and can articulate into the Master of Health Promotion. Graduates work in health promotion, prevention and community health roles across government and non-government organisations.
