About this program
The Graduate Diploma of Public Health at Deakin University is a one-year postgraduate course that builds knowledge of public health and the practical skills to improve the health and wellbeing of communities locally and globally. Students develop a strong foundation in public health practice, health systems and policy while learning to apply evidence to contemporary public health challenges, building skills in data interpretation, health promotion and policy. The course can articulate into the Master of Public Health. Graduates work in policy, program, promotion and research roles across government, non-government and international health organisations.
