About this program
The Master of Artificial Intelligence for Design and Creative Practice at Deakin University teaches creative professionals to understand, evaluate and responsibly apply generative AI within their own creative practice. Students explore how AI tools are built, how they can support or challenge creative work, and the ethical and social questions this raises, while continuing to develop their own creative voice across design, writing, communication or screen disciplines.

- GenAI in Creative Research Plus 4 credit points from one specialisation within the Master of Arts (Writing and Literature), Master of Communication, Master of Fine Arts or Master of Film and Television, a research capstone (e.g. Masters Research Project B/C/D), and remaining electives from those same programs
