About this program
The Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University prepares students for a career supporting people with chronic conditions through evidence-based exercise. From the first trimester students work with real clients in a community-facing clinical environment, building practical skills under professional supervision, and complete more than 300 hours of clinical placement across diverse health settings. The course is accredited by Exercise and Sports Science Australia, leading to accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Graduates work in hospitals, private practice, rehabilitation, chronic disease management and community health.

To be considered for admission to this degree you will need to meet the following criteria: completion of a bachelor degree in a relevant area with eligibility for Exercise Scientist accreditation from Exercise and Sports Science Australia (e.g. graduates of Deakin's Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science or Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science - Advanced (Honours)). Places are limited and entry is competitive
