About this program

The Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University prepares students for a career supporting people with chronic conditions through evidence-based exercise. From the first trimester students work with real clients in a community-facing clinical environment, building practical skills under professional supervision, and complete more than 300 hours of clinical placement across diverse health settings. The course is accredited by Exercise and Sports Science Australia, leading to accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Graduates work in hospitals, private practice, rehabilitation, chronic disease management and community health.
