About this program
Deakin University Master of Nursing is a postgraduate qualification for registered nurses who want to move into senior clinical, leadership, education or research roles. It requires 12 credit points, with core specialisation units taught in first year on a semester basis, and students choose a coursework stream, which can be tailored with course-specific or general electives, or a thesis stream. Full-time students study four credit points per trimester across two trimesters a year. Entry requires registration as a registered nurse in the country of practice and a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent. Indicative international tuition is around A$35,300 per year.
