The Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Honours at Edith Cowan University covers the design, construction and maintenance of the built environment, including surveying, soil mechanics, structural analysis, hydrology and transportation engineering, alongside construction technology and site management. Admissions

Applicants need a Mathematics Methods ATAR (or equivalent) plus one of Physics ATAR, Engineering Studies ATAR, Chemistry ATAR or Mathematics Specialist ATAR; Physics or Engineering Studies ATAR is desirable and students without it may need a first year bridging unit. Where the ATAR is not met directly, requirements may be satisfied through an AQF Diploma or equivalent, an Undergraduate Certificate, 0.5 EFTSL of prior bachelor level study at an Australian higher education provider or equivalent, the Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test, a University Preparation Course, or the Indigenous University Orientation Course. International applicants are assessed on secondary school results.
