- Semester 1A dual degree with the University of Portsmouth, UK: two and a half years at ECU, one year at Portsmouth, then a final semester back at ECU, graduating with both a Bachelor of Environmental Science from ECU and a BSc (Hons) Environmental Science and Management from Portsmouth. Year 1: Form and Function in Biology, Professional Science Essentials, Physical Environments, plus Chemistry for the Life Sciences or General Chemistry depending on ATAR background
- Semester 1Case Studies in Science, Origins and Evolution of Life, Ecology, Introduction to Environmental Science (Semester 2). Year 2: Environmental Management and Sustainability, Ecological Restoration, Geographical Information Systems, Marine and Freshwater Processes
- Soil and Land Processes, Australian Biota, Sustainable Water, Aboriginal Perspectives on the Environment (Semester 2). Year 3: studied at the University of Portsmouth, including units such as Environmental Fieldwork, Conservation in a Changing World, and Coastal Management. Year 4: Environmental Investigation and Monitoring, Waste Management, Project Management (Semester 1), plus Sustainable Natural Resource Management over Winter term. Total: 3.5 years full time, on campus at Joondalup and Portsmouth, UK

The indicative or guaranteed ATAR is as published where applicable, or academic admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following: AQF Certificate IV, 0.25 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider or equivalent, an Undergraduate Certificate, the Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test, a University Preparation Course, the Indigenous University Orientation Course, or the Experience Based Entry Scheme. For international students, requirements include secondary school results.
