About this program
The Master of Nursing Studies at Edith Cowan University is designed primarily for internationally registered nurses, and also enables Australian registered nurses to gain and update skills to further their careers. The course develops in-depth knowledge of contemporary health care and the skills to apply it to practice, covering topics such as clinical leadership, health equity and social justice. Students complete supervised clinical placements in Perth health settings, applying their learning to real patient care before entering the workforce.

Admissions
Applicants need a bachelor degree in nursing; applicants relying on equivalent prior learning need two years of full time (or equivalent) post registration professional practice and must submit a current CV. Academic admission requirements (Band 8) may be satisfied through completion of one of the following: a bachelor degree in a cognate discipline, or, where accepted, equivalent prior learning including at least five years of relevant professional experience.
