Federation University Australia, Ballarat, VIC, Australia
About this program
Federation's Bachelor of Arts spans humanities, media, visual arts and the social sciences, with students choosing a major from Digital Cultures, English, History and Heritage Studies, Indigenous Studies, Sociology or Visual Arts (the last only at the Ballarat Arts Academy). A cooperative-education model runs through the degree, culminating in a supervised workplace placement in third year alongside the core critical and ethical-thinking units. Graduates move into fields such as digital marketing, museum curation, youth engagement and public-sector policy work, or use the degree as a base for further study in education or research.
