Bachelor of Information Technology
Federation University Australia, Ballarat, VIC, Australia
About this program
Federation's Bachelor of Information Technology was recently restructured to let students combine stand-alone core IT subjects with an in-depth specialisation of their choice, plus electives from elsewhere in the university. Core coursework builds communication, programming and problem-solving skills relevant to systems modelling, web design and user experience, delivered through the university's Co-operative Model so students get workplace exposure alongside their studies. The flexible structure lets students tailor a study plan around a chosen specialisation (such as cybersecurity, networking and security, software development or business information systems) while sharing a common IT core.
