Start your engineering journey - no prerequisites required. Engineering is about solving problems and shaping the future. If you're interested in engineering but don't yet meet the maths or physics prerequisites, this degree gives you a direct pathway. You'll build strong foundations in maths, physics, programming and design, then specialise in a major such as biomedical, civil, electrical and electronics, mechanical, sustainability, or Design and UX. With study options at Tonsley or Flinders' new City Campus, you'll graduate ready for industry or transfer into an accredited Bachelor of Engineering program.

Admissions

Direct entry is available with a guaranteed-entry ATAR of 65, or with a STAT score of 150.0, or with a GPA of 4.0 or higher (for tertiary-study entry). Applicants who don't meet this can apply through Flinders University Academy's foundation, diploma and pathway programs, or via recognised prior study and work experience assessed case by case.
