1 term of coursework

  • Year 1: Psychology Research Methods Psychology of Surviving and Thriving Mental Health and Wellbeing 3 option topics such as Supporting Mental Health and Wellbeing or Understanding Victims and Crime In the second year, you'll study a mix of core, option and elective topics. You'll advance your research skills and prepare for a more complex understanding Year 2: Research Methods Social and Organisational Psychology Cognition and Learning Psychological Assessment Psychology for Children and Adolescents 3 elective topics In the third year, you'll study a mix of core, option and elective topics. You'll apply your knowledge to practical and specialised areas of psychology. Year 3: Research Methods Applications of Psychological Science Clinical Psychology 3 elective topics 3 option topics such as Forensic Psychology , Applied Cognitive Psychology or Advanced Neuroscience

Admissions

Direct entry is available with a guaranteed-entry ATAR of 70, or with a STAT score of 150.0, or with a GPA of 4.5 or higher (for tertiary-study entry). Applicants who don't meet this can apply through Flinders University Academy's foundation, diploma and pathway programs, or via recognised prior study and work experience assessed case by case.
