About this program
Flinders University's Bachelor of Performance (Honours) - 1 year degree. The Bachelor of Performance (Honours) empowers students to undertake original creative research, by combining practical and theoretical methodologies to generate new knowledge. Working across written and performance forms, students conceive of a research question, design and undertake a research project in response, and deliver creative artefacts and exegetical writing that reports their results. Throughout, students appraise performance (both individual and collaborative) as a research methodology, and further develop an understanding of their creative practice as research. They undertake a suite of research activities that both respond to industry briefs, and challenge and critique the industry they are preparing to enter.
