Griffith's Doctor of Medicine is a 320-credit-point graduate-entry medical degree, four years full-time, with the international offering based at the Gold Coast. It uses team-based learning, clinical skills sessions and immersive placements, including a General Practice Longitudinal Program and community and in-hospital experience. Entry is a bachelor degree in any discipline with a grade point average of at least 5.0 plus the GAMSAT, with a minimum of 50 in each section, or the MCAT with 123 in each section, and IELTS 7.0. The degree is accredited by the Australian Medical Council. Graduates are eligible for limited registration and gain full registration after a two-year internship, and work in clinical practice, primary and rural care, medical administration, research and education.
