Master of Clinical Dentistry
Griffith University, Brisbane/Gold Coast, QLD, Australia
About this program
Griffith's Master of Clinical Dentistry is an 80-credit-point degree, one year full-time, taught at the Gold Coast, for qualified dentists who want to strengthen advanced general-practice skills. Students choose one of three majors, implant dentistry, oral surgery or prosthodontics, and study through seminars, journal clubs, supervised clinical practice and a research project, applying the enhanced skills directly in practice. Entry is a bachelor degree in dentistry, current professional registration, clinical experience and an interview, and IELTS 7.0, so it is aimed at practising dentists rather than new graduates. The program integrates academic learning with extensive clinical experience so skills can be applied immediately in practice. Graduates deliver advanced procedures within general dental practice in their chosen area of implant dentistry, oral surgery or prosthodontics. Indicative international tuition is around A$77,000 per year.
