About this program
The Bachelor of Agriculture at La Trobe University prepares students to tackle the big issues in farming, food production and farming systems. Students build foundational skills in plant and animal sciences, agricultural systems, agribusiness, land and soil management, and sustainable agricultural practice, with real-world case studies addressing productivity and sustainability locally, nationally and globally. Hands-on experience covers soil science, disease identification, cropping and livestock management, and entrepreneurship.
