About this program
La Trobe's Master of Clinical Audiology is a two-year, 240-credit-point degree that qualifies graduates to work as audiologists. Study covers the nature of sound, speech and auditory perception, and advanced diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology, taught in small classes with pre-clinical work and extensive supervised clinical placement. The degree is accredited by Audiology Australia, and graduates may apply for membership. Entry is a bachelor degree in the social, physical, biological or health sciences with a weighted average mark of at least 70 percent. IELTS 7.0 with no band below 7.0. Graduates work as clinical audiologists in major hospitals, private clinics and research facilities, running diagnostic hearing assessments and individualised rehabilitation programs. Indicative international tuition is around A$52,600 per year.
