Master of Nursing

La Trobe University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia

About this program

La Trobe's Master of Nursing is a two-year, 240-credit-point degree for people who are already registered nurses. Clinical specialisations, done in hospital settings with health partners, include acute care, critical care, cardiac care, perioperative practice, neonatal care and medical imaging; non-clinical specialisations build research, leadership and health management expertise. Delivery is blended, with face-to-face or fully online options. Entry is a recognised nursing degree equivalent to an Australian bachelor; clinical specialisations require current registration, and international applicants are not held to the Australian practising-certificate requirement for the non-clinical pathway. IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0. Graduates work as clinical nurse specialists and managers, nurse educators, nurse researchers and directors of nursing. Indicative international tuition is around A$41,600 per year.
