La Trobe's Master of Occupational Therapy Practice is a two-year, 240-credit-point degree open to graduates from any undergraduate discipline, with a weighted average mark of at least 65 percent. It combines coursework in assessment and intervention, the therapeutic use of occupation and the adaptation of environments with 1000 hours of placement, structured as a six-week block in the first year and two eight-week blocks plus a ten-week project-based placement in the second. The degree is accredited by the Occupational Therapy Council of Australia and approved by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
