About this program
The Master of Teaching (Birth to Five Years) is a professionally accredited initial teaching degree enabling graduates to work as university-qualified early childhood teachers or leaders in prior-to-school settings. Course content draws on contemporary research-based expertise in child development, curriculum and pedagogy, and leadership and management, with critical, analytical and integrative thinking incorporated throughout. Students apply their skills and specialist early childhood knowledge through engagement with children from birth to five years across a variety of settings, graduating as ethical, autonomous and critically reflective teacher leaders. This is a Macquarie University (Sydney) course.
